probably appreciate foreigners are not allowed to work in restaurants unless they have the correct visa - exec chefs in 5 star restaurants etc, The Japanese lady in this restaurant is working illegally as it would be impossible for her to get a visa to cook but good luck to her.
Unfortunately it only takes one jealous local restauranter to pot her to Immigration and she's in a pile of trouble. Luckily for her Amed is well off the beaten track.
The only one I know in southern Bali is an Italian restaurant in Jalan 66 where an Italian guy prepares and cooks superb pizzas. Not sure how he gets away with it but I love eating them.
