because this happened once only to me (in Bali)and whether by coincidence or not it was just a couple of months before I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Hasn't happened since. Another observation is that they seem to be much more liberal with salt when cooking than perhaps we are. I like the taste but never feel the urge to add more which I have to resist at home.
