used on Australians is always the woe is me, we really need your help. It doesn't matter how busy or quiet the retailers are; Australians always get the same schtick. And, for many, it works. Some people happily and with a sense of charity pay more, buy more and pet the retailers and call them friends. Personally, I'm on holidays, I work in the social justice field, I don't want more of the same while I'm trying to relax.
