in an earlier post and i did not know you can get diarrhea from over-medicating on the stuff. think sometimes culturally things apply and to others it goes astray. who knows??? In all my travels overseas (done more than enough works trips to Singapore, KL. HK etc as well) it seems to me evreytime I was sick I didnt listen to my instincts and used that slightly wet unclean looking sambal bowl, or ate from the dodgy looking corn cart etc. Even in Australia I have "have the instinct" but ignored it and paid the price. Not sure if pineapple juice would of protected me from such stupidity!! lol!!. There must be some validity to simple things as this though? I do like wives tales so to speak as they are born of knowledge sometimes, Thanks clovis and pondokCangu for the posts
