if your 65 and worried about that kind of bullocks. Your there for what? 2 weeks. I dont think your leg will drop of if you get a cut but then you could cut yourself on the curb on JL Legian or anywhere for that matter. The beach is fine, the sand is a little courser than what you mite call normal, its difficult to walk on as its mostly course shell grit which tends to act a bit like sinking sand but its a beautiful beach, lots of girls, quite hippyish, ppl walk up and down it all the time, nothing to worry about. Having said that, its always good to have a pair of Bali Boots or the like.
