I had my friend who is a tour guide in Bali (often mentioned on here - Putu of TIC Bali) look into it. He rang them about a half hour ago and they said there was no problem and they were taking bookings as usual.
I would suggest you contact Putu and he will make a booking for you. I had issues trying to book direct for last August, about a month in advance. They said they were booked solid till the end of September. Someone here put me onto Putu and he booked me on my first choice of date, no problem.
