switching Lovina with the Amed region for a day trip?
Lovina is a fair jog, even from Ubud and may be a bit rushed.
Perhaps an overnighter in Lovina would be a better option.
You could go into Amed on the inland road, stopping at Tirta Ganga water temple and then exit south down the coast road, stopping at Ujung and/or Amlapura along the way.
You could also reverse this direction.
Heavy traffic and many slow trucks can make these roads very slow and perhaps best to limit distances or you spend your day trip on the road only.
