i asked my driver about this out of curiosity and he said he can usually get people into the dolphins with a few days/weeks notice (the more notice the better) the catch is u need to use a driver to get there (& pay them ontop of the dolphin fee as they don't get any commission for booking the dolphins for you) because sometimes its sold out due to a lack of vehicles available to pick you up..
