When attending the cooking class at Bumbu Bali (meant to be one of the best traditional Balinese cooking courses) I learnt that Balinese satay does not have separate peanut sauce as the meat is marinated in spices including peanut. Other cuisines have a separate peanut sauce. However, I am with you.... PemboSix.... I love the separate peanut sauce.
