Accommodation in Legian/Seminyak

Hi everyone, we are seasoned Bali travellers since '91.
Meeting up with friends at our usual hotel in the midst of all the action in Kuta, however we have 4 days before they arrive and wanting to try a different hotel in the Legian/Seminyak area that would also suit a 6yo too. Around $150 per night for the room.
Looking at Kumala Pantai or Ocean Outrigger. Would these properties be suitable? Any other recommendations?
