I feel sorry for all the market sellers I ran past on my way back to the money changer. Normally I politely tell them "no thanks"..... but this time I think I was a bit rude??? I remember thinking ïf that same guy askes me the 1000th time if I want a bangle with my name on it... look out!!".
Unfortunately i only realised after I got back to the hotel (Bali Garden just up the road). My wife asked me for the money. She heard me swear, and then saw me running away. She guessed what happened & didnt trust me the rest of the trip.
Funny thing is that I normally much more alert than she is about the whole money changing thing. If only i realised before she saw me.... Dam it !
