Be wary when using international roaming, it's not unusual to get bills of several hundred dollars ( or even thousands) for overseas trips.
If only making and receiving a couple of short phone calls and a few texts roaming is fine, If you have a smartphone turn off data roaming.
Otherwise get a Bali SIM, as others have mentioned your phone needs to be unlocked.
