as I posted further down - my son has a immune deficiency and his immunizations never took.

He was immunized against everything as a young child but PMH (Perth children hospital)said for what ever reason they never took. So I had him at school fully immunized (well we thought he was)yet he was totally at risk...............

So firstly immunizing your child does not always work and now days sadly (in my opinion - wrongly) there are an awful lot of parents choosing not to immunize so your children are at risk just as much in Australia as Bali for these diseases which were nearly not exsistant in OZ 10 years ago BUT due to a load of parents choosing not to immunize There are now scores of children at risk and catching these diseases.

This info I got from our immune specialist at PMH so the advise about waiting till the immunizations are don't really now days isn't all that valid............in my humble opinion

You will also note I can't decide if "immunizations" should be spelt with a "z" or an "s"
