I have taken my kids there but they were 8 and 10 at the time. But there is no way I would take a new born baby, escpecially at only 6 weeks old to Bali but that is just my opinion and everyones opinion will be different. I have never seen and ambulance in Bali. While here in Aus we assume that if something goes wrong we can just call an ambulance, we will be in hospital very quickly and getting good care asap. In Bali I just don't think it is the same as in Aus. While the BIMC is always talked of highly, and I am glad I have never has to use it, I don't think it would stack up against any children's hospital in Australia. Babies can deteriorate very quickly with something as simple as bali belly so I just wouldn't risk it. Maybe if you conact the airlines and let them know your situation you may be able to change your flights till bub is a little older.
