you were comfortable with taking your children then there's no reason to change your mind. Nothing has happenned any differently of late that hasn't gone on before.
Personally I've never been in favour of taking children to Bali. Most holiday with their children in Southern Bali and, even disregarding the threat of violence, I don't think most of what goes on there is appropriate for children.
