My wife and I (now in our 50's) enjoy the beat of this place. Yes, it is ostentatious and the food and drinks are a bit more expensive than a lot of other places, but the cocktails are inventive and beautifully presented. The food is original and very nicely presented. There are a couple of different restaurants, but we like the more informal area.
Generally we get there about 4pm. Have a couple of cocktails and a cheese platter. Watch the sunset, and all the beautiful people, Then have a light dinner. Usually costs us about $AU100.
Not something you would do every night, but certainly worth the experience.
