I attended the ½ day cooking school at Bamboo Shoots Cooking School, Sanur. Situated in the grounds of Mangrove Beach Sanctuary Villa's. The day starts with pick up from your local hotel, a trip to the market in Sanur for provisions then back to the school. There were 6 dishes to cook from different parts of Indonesia with a brief history about each region from our Instructors Irma and Dewi. The instruction was easy to follow specially for me with limited cooking skills. We were presented with a recipe book at the end of the morning which has been used so much since we got back from Bali.
