Did you mean 6 & 9 or 16 & 9? We went to the Dynasty one year just for the kids club and it wasnt for us. My 8yr old wasnt really the type to just latch on to a playmate so he never wanted to go to the kids club. He was happier staying with us and enjoyed the activities such as Waterbom park and learning to surf etc. I found that the Dynasty was really busy and noisey so relaxing by the pool was a challenge - especially at happy hour! At 16 & 9 I think you will be pretty happy with lots of choices. Staying on the Sanur side the kids can take off on a great bike ride when they feel like it and fly kites etc. Good luck!
