Because it's too expensive for me..... There are 4 of us (1 adult/3 kids) with 4 large pieces of luggage + hand luggage. I've done some shopping around with car hire & I've even thought of using my frequent flier points - but even using those uses up too many points (I'm trying & trying to clock up as many points as I can to get us cheaper flights in the future). Looked at hiring a station wagon or tarago, but couldnt justify the expense as opposed to driving up ourselves. I've even looked at the Airtrain option - tooooo $$$ as well plus fiddly with the kids. I've just done a "dummy run" & can fit everything into our car, so I think we might just drive up ourselves.....
