I normally use Sea Mail.

Three weeks ago, I was quoted Rp 666,000 to send a box containing 20 kg by Sea Mail to Australia by the Post Office in Jalan Patimura just off Jalan Legian in Kuta.

They pack your things in a box, then wrap it in woven plastic material and sew it up.

Delivery takes between 6 to 12 weeks.

I do not advise inncluding wooden items as Australia Post likes to send all wooden items away for fumigation.
