I stayed around the corner at the similarly rated Bakungsari last month for $31 a night including breakfast. Superior room was a bit older, but clean with fridge, a/c and tv. Room cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels that were all in good condition. Apparently the standard rooms are nearly all newly renovated so more modern, but have no balcony/veranda - I'd rather an older room and somewhere to sit, personally.
Gets a lot of bad reviews, but not sure why. It was well worth the price I paid for it, and I enjoyed the change of location - I usually stay in Legian.
