I caught a taxi the other day from Legian to Denpasar went off-meter for 75,000 Rp there and 70,000 back with a different taxi. I may have paid a bit more than I should have but not much more. BTW Denpasar has a population of about 500,000 people...I'm not from Australia but I think Sydney must be about 6 times that pop.
