It is a wonderful rest, no markets, no shops, no one selling anything in your face, no night clubs. Like Bali was many many years ago. All traditional shops.
Enjoy snorkeling, riding a scooter, no cars, watching fishermen and the beautiful scenery especially when you go across the yellow bridge to Nusa Ceningan island I went there in Jan (solo female 50 plus) and had a great time hired a scooter, went snorkeling, relaxed. I stayed at Jungutbtu bay, more traditional than the upmarket tourity atea of mushroom bay. With a scooter, very close. See a few posts below this for other people's opinions. I can't wait until I return there.
