Don,t despair, Kejora Villa,s are beautiful, built and owned by an Adelaide man, strict security measures and VERY nice people staying there. As for restaraunts on the beach you have Beach Cafe, Mango walking south Grya Santrian, Besakih, etc. The balinese on the beach will not worry you if you give a very firm NO thank you to their offers of seeing their shops etc. Just a tip have a spray tan or rub on tan before you go so you are not tooo white and they won,t know you have just arrived. The weather in May is usually very nice.Good restaraunts on the street are Mona Lisa, Beach Cafe the Wicked Parrot, Street Cafe,The Porch La Barraca the list is endless. You will love it, just ignore the negative postings
