Besakih is in a great location both on the beach and the road- no matter which way you go you will find numerous restaurants and there are 2 nearby markets if you turn left on the beach path.We stay here regularly and whilst it is not a luxury hotel it is very comfortable and has a lovely pool.I f you like exploring, hire a bike for a day or more ( can be hired just outside Besakih on the beach but we use the guy on the beachfront nearer Gazebo)- you can ride for miles along the beach path or alernately there is a bike lane along the main rd outside the front of Besakih- we safely used this early in the day! Have a great time- we cannot wait to get back in January!
