Hi, I have always thought and written that i was on the slopes of Mount Agung when in Munti, then 2 nights ago i saw this article about smudge and assumed he was more technically correct than me (insert below) referring to batur, and also looking at maps referencing where i am in relation to tinyar and kubu i decided that i must be wrong and we were on mount batur?!? : Returned volunteers David and Christine Cloughley with Made (Secretary) & Smudge (Director) of Yayasan Peduli Munti Gunung (YPMG), in Bali. Dave and Christine Cloughley worked at Yayasan Peduli Munti Gunung (YPMG), a non-profit, independent NGO assisting the people of the villages of the Munti Gunung area (eastern slopes of Mount Batur on the north eastern side of the island) in Bali in 2009/10.
more than happy for my sanity going back to saying mount agung. i haven't got the long term running costs worked out at all for the clinic, but meeting with the kelompok head we have the site worked out and i have nearly raised enough to get electricity there - slowly, slowly., but i'm hoping within 2 years. cheers jan
