Hi guys, my post wasn't directed to anyone - just my thoughts. A website i made of what i do in Munti Gunung, Karangasem is my user name b---smiles (with the obvious alphabet bits at the start and end, i can't post with a web address included) and am i currently getting money together to build a small health clinic high up on the slopes of Mount Batur as the villagers have no facilities for basic health care. The dogs in Munti? - they eat rice, vomit and human diarrhoea, this is true as i have seen it. All pig body parts are eaten by humans and people laughed at me when i asked if "those bits went to the cats and dogs" but no; humans eat the lot! Humans die in the munti region at an unacceptable rate in this day and age. so I'm not concerned about the dogs but am very concerned about the humans. I fundraised and had the John Fawcett foundation (Sanur) go to Munti for free eye screening and cataract surgery which returned sight to 5 elderly people. I stopped reading and posting on this forum quite awhile ago as it is full of putdowns and sarcasm and not enough logical commonsense, intelligent and empathetic posts. Had a browse last night and am glad i did, as bali dog charities just have a different perspective to me and thought i would air those opinions, so thanks for your calm replies and restoring my faith in some people on this forum, regards, jan
