I carry a bag that has a zipped pocket at the back, where I keep my stash of big notes. I could have anything up to 4 million rupiah in there, depending on what our plans are.
I have a slimline wallet with 2 sides where I keep anything under 100,000 rupiah on one side (in denomination order), and a few 100,000's in the other side.
Easy to find small notes for cabs etc.
