A KITAS is the visa to stay here, the work permit is the permit attached to a company for you to work for them (costs $1200US per year) and cannot be transferred to another employer (belongs to the employee, not the employer and not available for a short term). You cannot work anywhere, even voluntary for another company legally and you will risk losing your KITAS and work permit for the International School you are working for here. Don't risk it, enjoy your 5 weeks off until you have to go back to work.
