Going back nearly four years we stayed here and I used the babysitting service while we went to dinner one night. It's obviously a while ago but the procedure then was we asked at reception and were told to ask one of the lady's at B/F. This was fine and was arranged for that night. (I think it is the case of most hotels, that we've stayed at anyway, it is generally one of the food service/housekeeping staff that do the babysitting).
All went fine but when we did return from dinner, not that late either, she was asleep in bed with the 2yr old. We had a 2, 4 & 14yr old with us so she was really just there to entertain the younger two and get them to bed but not sure about the sleeping on the job though. 14yr old was in the other room and would she have woken if one of the younger two tried to leave the room? Who knows.
