I have just returned from Indonesia.
In GT, I found reliable WiFi at the Egotist and Black Penny restaurants on the beach.
In Kuta, I found reliable WiFi at the Simpang Cafe in Jalan Legian and Gloria Jeans in Kuta Square.
Other places advertised free WiFi, but I was unable to connect my iPhone.
