We went last year. I agree with the other comments. "Tacky" is the best word for it. After seeing Bali Safari Park, the Turtle Island was boring. Kids didnt even enjoy it. The only good part was swimming briefly with the turtles (in brown dirty water) and we have a great photo.
Quite an awful boat ride out there. Not much nice scenery. We had a "glass bottom boat". It had a small bit of perspex cut into the bottom of the boat. We couldnt see a thing. At one stage we thought we could see something. We were all looking. Then we realised it was a plastic bag.
But we are glad we did it. Sometimes the bad stuff still creates good family memories.
