Just wanted to post a quick review of our trip so far, as i know I will not remember or have the time once we get back to reality!
Left Melb yesterday flying Garuda for he first time - loved it! Seats were comfy with so much leg room compared to jet* & pacific blue & service fantastic too, they even brought round a tray of different toys/game for my daughter to choose a gift from - she took a puzzle which managed to keep her amused for the best part of an hour.... Win for everyone :) only slight issue was the plane was very cold, how ever they did bring around blankets for everyone so not a big problem.
Quickly through via & customs & off to the Padma hotel Legian. We have only been here 24 hrs so far, but definately the best resort we have stayed at, anywhere. We are in a premier room as it is the biggest & I wanted space for the rollaway bed for 3yr old... Still enough room to be comfortable & not falling over our stuff. The others in our group are in deluxe chalets, quite similar to ours but a little smaller & in groups of I think 2 up 2 down blocks. Breakfast was full on- so much choice, but everything fresh & delish :)
Had dinner at Mozzerellas by the sea last night, a lovely set up & relaxed enough for kids not to be a problem (mine anyway, lol) good value for the quality of food we had although it was quite dark & we needed extra candles on our table by the end, perhaps romantic for some?
Have booked massages at Santai spa this arvo on reccomendations from btf, can't wait!
3 more nights here then heading to Candi dasa, staying at Waterfront Villa (also known as Kaniska apparently) there has been some joking within our group about whether the villa actually exists as there was very little info available on it besides the booking website.... Fingers crossed, if it's not there I'm not sure I will ever live it down!!

P.S weather as been great, no rain so far & rate on the street is 9500
