I am well over 70 and my family never "take" me anywhere - they refer to me as the "scout" as I do the scouting for family overseas trips. Bali again this year, and next year I am off to India at long-last - ON MY OWN - wooooo-hooooooo!
I agree with Pobi - suss out the options and let your mum and dad decide what they would like to do. One way or another, I am sure you will all have a holiday to remember - even your dad! (He might like to try riding a bike along Sanur, which I did last year even though I hadn't ridden a bike for about thirty years!)
