Yes, we found we couldnt buy Duty Free in Bali last Thursday. I was very surprised when DF salesperson explained that they would prefer to make the sale but they couldn't even deliver it to Jetstar gate inside airport.
We were able to buy DF in Melbourne and take to Bali and were able to buy in Darwin (fortunately open at 3 am) and carry on to flight to Melbourne.
I can only guess that Jetstar get a kick back from Australian DF sales.
