Yes, I meant that I thought Paddy was more hardcore, however, I think they assess the ability and aspirations of the group, as we were a group of not-so-young-anymore lads looking to tear it up, they took us on a course accordingly and let us loose a bit. Bottom line is that you stay in a pack, and you ride at the speed and comfort level of the slowest rider.
We specifically requested to be in a group by ourselves, mainly so we could rev spray each other with mud, which wasn't hard considering the amount of water on the ground following recent rains.
After all that, I have been with my wife before with Bali Discovery, this was perhaps a bit more scenic as we experienced a coffee plantation, rice field and a real-life village.
Whichever company you choose, I'm sure it will be a great experience.
We had a couple of 'breakdowns' along the way, but the guides are quick to either re-start you or get you onto a spare bike, so quickly you hardly notice the stop!!!! Have fun.
In terms of location, this was West of Ubud, can't remember the name of the location, but the view from the premises / restaurant was magnificent.
