and on the beach. Today is Melasti Day, the day of purification before Nyepi.
Everyone from the Kerobokan area and some parts of Denpasar will walk from their villages, down jalan raya Kerobokan, then along jalan Petitenget to the temple and the sea.
If you sit in one of the cafes in jalan Petitenget between 10:30am and 12:30pm, you'll see a passing parade of nearly 5,000 Balinese (and a few bule ring-ins). It's a site to see.
