We stayed at Paneeda last year. There were no kettles in the room, but tea and coffee making facilities are in the front foyer. I cant recall any hair dryers either. we originally were in a Sea Front Bungalow, there are about 5 or 6 or them, most of them are nice. But the one we were put in was terrible. A gap of over an inch below and above the door, and was full of mossies. And the bed was 2 singles pushed together. I went up to reception and complained, and was moved immediately to another room. It wasnt a Seaside Bungalow but was much nicer. We ended up having a great stay there. Its a little removed from where all the restaurants are, but a blue taxi is easy to catch and less than 20,000 rp.
You will enjoy it.
