Ok, well maybe I will offend people here but heres my view on Peneeda. Now we arent snobs or anything we have stayed at your regular hotels like Adhi Dharma, absolutely loved it and Jayakarta and go camping so know about roughing it but Peneeda? We booked for 7 nights stayed 1. We first arrived unpacked and the air con was not working properly so we were moved to another room, just unpacked and were moved again, finally 3rd room. Went to the restaurant and had a meal, worst meal in Bali ever. The air con did not work properly, there was louvre doors and mosquitos in the room everywhere, the front door did not close properlythe bathroom smelt like pee it was an open sort of shower I think others had been using as a toilet and the final straw was the bedding was not clean. Did not sleep that night terrified of bed bugs biting us, there werent any but just the thought. We were not going to let our holiday be ruined so moved, it was so disappointing as this hotel has huge potential not mega money to be spent but just a general clean up. I know others have stayed here. Never again for us.
