Day 6

Well after many painfull attempts, today was dolphin day. It was worth all the problems in booking I tell you.
Transport to & from, part of the drive was on a bumpy track but all good. Welcome drink then a short boat trip out to the enclosure. Trainers are great. Our dolphin was Feather, Great experience, feeding, touching & doing tricks with Feather, watching him under the water. Photos were taken by a staff member with my own camera for a donation towards the dolphins. Highly reccomend!!

Day 7

Safari park today, kinda tired out so had a sleep on the bus, very busy on the road to start. First up was photos with orang a tan, then lion cub, the elephant show, 10 min elephant ride, lunch, safari trip & the day was nearly over. ($70 adult & $65 child from memory) Funniest thing was the orang a tan climing off our lap to go to the tap & give himself a drink!
Dinner at the pool restaurant, shopping at Dicovery & surrounds & caught in the rain once again!

Day 8

Hired a driver $50 for the day visited batik store, barong dance, silversmith, temple, coffee plantation & Ubud on way home, but did not stay long as markets were too hot for daughter who was feeling sick :( Had a huge dinner as we didnt eat at lunch.

Day 9

Slept in quick trip to Discovery again! Then got picked up for Bali Island horses, what a fantastic adventure!!!! The drive there was beautiful, real Bali. Horse guides were great & took lots of photos. Highly recommend too!!
1hr 45 min drive back to Rama.

Day 10

Slept in & lazed around the gorgeous pool, lunch at pool restaurant, trip to Bread Talk in the afternoon for a scrummy cake, then Febris for dinner (surprise) I'm kind of a fussy eater so when I found a place that was ok I stuck to it, was cheap too.

Went to Diannes & got bags to take our purchases back in.

Check in was easy, but having said that, so many checks to go through!! Flight was very quiet (like trip over) so had 3 seats each, didn't sleep very well, but it did go quick. Got held up at customs as our shoes were dirty from the horse riding & elephants, so had to be cleaned.

Great holiday, Very tired now as after arriving home at 7am Wed, we flew out to the Gold Coast at 6am Friday, Now I'm really buggered BUT planning my next trip LOL

PS we did go to Kuta beach to have hair braiding & paid $25 probably too much for Bali but neh we were happy (had a bit of a melt down during, see TA post by hibiscusmum under Bali paradise lost). Also visited Ketuts, what a great lady.

Not impressed with Softcomp in Discovery, very unfaithfull staff member there as you woould have read in the same above post.

Thanks for reading it's a bit long winded.
