I have a 28 Degrees credit card that I get charged nothing for to use overseas. No currency conversion charges or for using overseas ATM (although the bank who owns the ATM may charge me). I'm not affiliated with them at all, just found that it has consistently suited me for overseas travel. High interest rates so not a good card as an actual credit card, I Bpay money into it for a trip and only use it then.
I found the CBA machines were almost always in a little booth or shop and therefore somewhat more secure than other ATMs. Sorry, don't remember if they charged me to use them.
