Flew out Perth with Air Asia 4.50 flight, Mum, Dad + Miss 13. Picked Duty free One DOM + One wine. (Will take wine from home next time as cheaper). Flight was good and had booked 14D for extra room for myself.
Arrived on time and straight through, and had to wait for bags (That's how quick it was)
Straight into Taxi and off to Kumala Pantai for 14days. Had booked on line with no problem and payed for one day(780000 + 225000 =$117). Room to my surprise was ready(Had packed small bag with swimmers as 2.00pm book in time)
Kumala Pantai was a great place to stay. Room Y-04 was on the bottom level and looked straight out over the older pool area. Rooms are big as we had Miss13 in with us but are in need of a little bit of paint bed was hard and taken some getting uses to. Not a lot of noise as reported on the forum before , gardens are beautiful but just take it steady if the paths are wet. (I took thongs off if wet). Pay bill first day and with the exchange rate at 9700:$1 it worked out to be about $104. Great location as had only stayed in Tuban end before.
Second day I had booked waxing at Glo spa ( I still get a little embarrassed telling people about it). Had back, back side and front done. Very professional and I was not the first male that she had done. Wife laughed when she had seen me.
Third day we went up to our old area of Tuban to catch up with some store keepers and restaurants we had visited on other trips. Daddy's was still good but Mudi had shutdown(I hope the girls that worked there are OK). Called in and seen Dianne but the baby was not there. Brought DVD's while there from next door to Daddy's.
Day four took us up to Seminyak to try out some of the great restaurants from the forum reviews. But it was lunch time and a lot were closed. Did the markets and they are very similar to others.Didn't go back to Seminyak again for one reason or another.
Miss 13 cough had turn into a chestly cough now so off the chemist for tablets and any other medicine. They gave us tablets for before and after meals as she is now throwing up everything but still running around and swimming like nothing is wrong. By day seven all the tablets are gone and she is no better. Off to BIMC hospital now and they suspect throat infection and more tablets and antibiotics. By day 11 she is feeling better but still throwing up after meals. She is bored and just what to get out. We take her down to Nusa Dua and the temple at Uluwatu then on to the rock bar to have a look. It is closed due to the rain and just as well as I can't go in because I have a singlet on and it take Bintang written on it.
Day 12 we take her to Tanah Lot and over to Sanur to see how the other people live, then back to Legian. On the way back we call into Carrefour. How good is this place? I was told to check it out for all the little thing like Bintang, chips, cool drinks and all that other stuff you buy in Bali. Wish I had found this place earlier as I wouldn't gone to Bintang supermarket
Flew home 8th march with no problems
