I think it's enough. I brought $1k for 10 days 1 adult.
There are lots of ATMs here as well. Just make sure you have your regular Handycard, not just your credit card, as even if CC is linked to your savings acc, it sometimes doesn't work. I use cash for most small items and CC for more expensive things, like nice restaurants. I exchange about $200 into Rp at a time and only use reliable money changers. Used to one frequently recommended on the BTF, next to Sip almost opp the Bintang Supermarket in Sem/Legian. Most impressive ever. Very professional, not even a shadow of funny biz. Like a western bank. Pt. M........ Can't exactly recall the name.
