You can do all the restaurants mentioned below any other night you are around Legian, and yes, a dinner on the beach at Jimbarin Bay also a must while you are there.
I have found over the years that a lot of Bali restaurants can be hit and miss, not what you want when celebrating a particular event. I have travelled and eaten in many restaurants in Bali and find Un's restaurant in Kuta to be extremely consistent. The food is exceptional, service friendly but unobtrusive and atmosphere pleasent and comfortable. It is located down a little laneway 20 metres from the end of Poppies 1 (opposite end from Kuta beach). There is a small blue sign showing you the way !
When you get to the sweets menu, the creme brulee is welll done, nice crispy top !
Of course, if you really want to go to town, the restaurant attached to Bvlgari Hotel is just incredible. Located on a cliff face, has won numerous awards - they have an awesome pre dinner drinks bar and the restaurant is simply out of this world. Quality of this type and location anywhere else in the world would cost a bomb - but pricing is not too bad, all things considered. If your brief is to have an unforgettable evening, then this is the place to do it. My wife and I still talk about our incredible evening there, which was over a year ago.
