Managed to get them working great after about 10 tries. It was jsut trial and error. From memory it was all to do with the angle of the rubberband and the little stick thing.
Dont try and flick them to the moon. Just try for small flicks and you will get the hang of it. Eventually you will get them crazy high. Me and my 13yr old were having competitions. Great fun at night on the beach.
They often sell them at beach side of Discovery Plaza at night. Maybe see if they can show u.
