If you'r lookig for a place that's not to expensive i can recommend "Welcome Inn" on Gili Trawangan. The rooms are big and I think it's possible to stay 3 in a room. That way it'll be really cheap for you. Google and you'll find info.
Best way to go from PadangBai is with fast boat. Lot's of different operators.
