We stay at Melasti BR and can recommend any of the restaurants suggested. Go out the beach exit and hang a right. Only place I would recommend that you bypass is the fish and chip shop towards the end of beach street. Hubby got really, really ill from the fish and it took about a month for him to recover.
Also, the food (while basic) from the take away menu at MBR is quite good. Have never eaten there at night. Too many other choices.
