JBR pt3 Dancing Queen

Couldn't get into top gear or any gear for that matter after the night of a spray painting, late to breakfast not that I could eat much sat and played with the Ipad whilst Wambolib had breakfast and chatted to other guest we'd met.
No plans for today so we decided to go down to Kuta Square, cab ride down Jalan Legian hasn't changed, sloooww as ever, checked out Bugus Watches nothing caught our eye this time round. Went into Mataharis, wasn't in the mood for this, sat down at every opportunity I saw a chair, shoe dept, makeup counter, in the end Wambolib gave up and said that she couldn't shop dragging a dead weight around, 'Hang on, I've lost a couple of kg's in past 24 hours!!!'

Back to KP for a lounge around the pool. I thought the stairs to our room felt like they were never going to end, I told Wambolib that I'll be with her by the pool in a little while knowing full well that I was going to rest my eye's ....No not a nana nap, just resting my eyes.
Wambolib likes to chat with other hotel guest so I knew she'll be ok, I think she'll chat to just about anyone( I thought I caught her chatting to the Turtle statue by the pool) as she always likes to hear about what other people are doing/going, shopping finds and the like. Eventually made to the pool, swim, doze ,swim ... Biggest decision of the day was were to go for dinner, I had a list a mile long of places that I took note of, on this and other forums , mostly warungs but I thought I'd better stick to something western ( damm those kacang pedas), thoughts were perhaps Café Melzano, nice and close.

Strolled to Jalan 66 from KP but was a little to early to eat, Wambolib want to check out a dress she saw in the shop window up the road. Walked fair way up only to find it closed, (queue sympathy face) in fact a lot of stores are closed early on Jalan 66. Now that we were this far up, I didn't want to walk back to Café Melzano and my restaurant list was on the back of my mind, so I made an executive decision, were going to Delicious Onions.

Delicious Onions is on Jalan Drupadi which runs off Dyana Pura. We get out of the cab I quickly scan the menu, Hmmm very Chineeesy , not that there anything wrong with that, just not what I was expecting. Wambolib also noted that there was not a soul in the restaurant, 'not a good sign!!'
'We're here now, you only live once' (queue dagger eyes). Wasn't long before a couple of other tables in the front of the restaurant garden were occupied with us.

Meals were ok , Wambolib had the Crispy roast pork with pandan rice and hoisin sauce. She liked it more than I did, I thought the pork was a overcooked. I choose the Kung Pow chicken with white rice and soup, thinking it would be lite like a Hainan chicken, I was wrong it was a heavy sauced chicken and vegetable dish and probably would have enjoyed it more if I was up to it, however the vegetable soup was very good. Wwhat is it with soup being so good when your under weather ?

The nights entertainment was billed Diva's of Seminyak , I thought ok here we go, so the music starts and she/ he/she, what is the politicly correct status for this?, I'll go for 'he' starts mining to the music whilst wondering through the restaurant from table to table. Now I'm wishing there was more people in here as he dances closer to the table in suggestive moves. Wambolib is jealous that he's got a better body than hers , 'take some photo' she says . I take a few shots, not camera shy, then was playing back to see how they turned out not taking any notice that he was behind me , before I knew it he had arms around me and kissed me on the cheek, I didn't know where to look. Wambolib just about falls off the chair pissing herself laughing. Not funny Jan!
Before the next show start another table fills at the front of the restaurant of young men who got into the nights theme although some of the suggestive moves could have been left out.

PS It's still mambolib :-)
