There are lots of people on here that can give you lots of advice. We are travelling to bali, staying near Seminyak in 6 weeks for the first time. I have been watching this forum for a quite a while now and keeping notes, here is what i have found out:
Restaurants - heaps.... Nirvana, western/indo food, entertainment at night. Cold towel, shot and nibbles complimentary when you arrive. Happy hour before 7pm, cheap drinks :)
Warung Taulan... Seminyak... overlooks rice fields... Indo food.. cheap.. great place to watch sunset
Echo Beach.... Seafood BBQ, band plays every sunday night.
LaLucciola - Right on the beach, great to watch sunset over drinks, then have dinner
Manos - next door to LaLucciola. Cafe style. Cheap
Ultimos - seminyak... more upmarket
Our must sees : Bali Dolphins (we have already booked for April and only had 1 option, they fill up quick so don't leave till when you get there)
Bali Safari
Waterbom
Horseriding
High tea at BIKU
Tanah Lot
White water rafting
HEAPS of massages
We are travelling with 4 kids so lots of activities for all ages.
