Not a silly question at all. 2 years ago I watched with some locals on Jl Legian. as you come out of Jl Padma we turned left and watched it somewhere along there, it didnt proceed down there till it was dark, Im thinking was about 7.30 or so. There were many locals out for it and was quite good to watch for an hour or so. So maybe a bar along that stretch somewhere while you wait.
